Phyllanthus emblica or commonly called ‘Gooseberry’ is green-spherical shaped edible fruit. It is quite sour to taste and belongs to family Phyllanthaceae. Gooseberry is well known as Amla in Hindi. This fruit can be found in most part of India, especially during autumn season.
